There are countless blemish removal products on the market right now. Everything from comedone extractors to creams and facials to electronic heat-generating instruments that fry the blemishes from the inside out. That last one seems to be the craziest of the blemish removal products out there. I haven’t tried it personally but it sounds like a neat idea. I’d like to see how well it works.

A less popular alternative to the fine loop or double spoon comedone extractors, is the vacuum blackhead remover.

It works just as you’d imaging it would. It has a little suction cup on it that you slide over the areas of your skin that have blackheads. Then the vacuum blackhead remover literally sucks out all of the old puss and oils that are clogging your pores.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about this item. I think I’ll stick with the manual process but if you’re looking for something new to try, then there’s a chance this blackhead removal tool will be the right tool for you.

The quickest option I know of to reduce the appearance of pimples and blackheads would be a good acne remover tool. You can drain out all that puss and bacteria in just a few seconds, if done after you get out of the shower. Your pores will be opened up from the steam. It won’t get rid of acne completely but it will make zits less apparent quickly.

It seems like more and more people want to try and use a blackhead removal tool. I don’t blame them. Anything to get rid of those irritating little blackheads faster, is okay in my book.

There’s a few different options out there. First off, you can choose to get just a single tool, or an entire blackhead removal tool kit. The kits area great because you’re given other helpful tools like tweezers and every type of comedone extractor (the other term for blackhead remover) you can think of. This way you’re not left having to buy each piece separately which can start to get expensive after a while.

The other option is just picking up a single blackhead removal tool. There’s also a few types of these. There’s the fine loop extractor and the double spoon extractor. They work essentially the same way. You line up the blackhead inside the loop, or hole in the spoon, and press down in order to push out the puss and oils.

The blackhead removal tool is a great option if you’re pressed for time or if you just can’t seem to get rid of deeply embedded blackheads any other way. Using your finger nails isn’t recommended. You can damage the skin and end up leaving acne scars.

Having trouble deciding which one of the many comedone extractors out there is the right one to buy?

Comedone removers (another name for them) are simple tools so it usually comes down to a matter of preference. Be it a loyalty to a certain brand or it might be a tool they’ve tried and know it works comfortably for them. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and try something to see if it’s right for you. It’s not that difficult to find a decent tool for blackheads.

There are only two different styles of tools to choose from. There’s the fine loop blackhead remover and the other one is the double spoon blackhead remover.

The fine loop tool for blackheads has, in case you didn’t guess already, loops on it. There’s a big loop on one end and a small loop on the other. You’ll use the size loop that best fits the size of your blemish.

The double spoon blackhead extractor has a similar set up as the loops. But in this case there’s a different sized spoon shaped cup. Each “spoon” has a hole in the bottom of it to put the blackhead in.

Other than that, there really isn’t a lot to look through when searching for a tool for blackheads. There are some suction tools but the success rate varies and as the tools get more complicated, the price rises accordingly.

Probably the most important step in extracting blemishes is the very first one. You need to open up your pores and loosen up the bacteria and oils in your skin. A comedone extractor, also known as a blackhead remover, is a great tool to help fight annoying blackheads and whiteheads.

A comedone extractor is usually used by a dermatologist but a lot of people like to use a more “do-it-yourself” approach. It’s nice because you only have to pay one time, and you’ve got the tools for life. No need to keep going to the dermatologist and paying for every single visit.

This blackhead tool isn’t hard to use at all. As long as you can follow simple directions you can easily get the job done in the comfort of your own home.

Of course you’ll want to follow all the directions that come with your product, but the basic process goes as follows:

1. Steam your face or take a hot shower to open up your pores.
2. Wash your hands and sanitize the comedone extractor with some rubbing alcohol.
3. Center the blemish inside the loop of the blackhead remover and press on it until all the junk comes out.
4. After you’re all done, wipe down the tool with alcohol again and also apply some rubbing alcohol or a nice antiseptic cream (like the one made by Derma E) to your face to avoid any infections.

That wasn’t too complicated, now was it? That’s just a broad overview so just be sure to be careful and follow directions closely when using a comedone extractor.
